Were should a 17 year old boy work at? Either a fast food restaurant or a grocery store if you are looking for part time work. I f you want full time employment because you are entering the workforce permanently, then factory work may be a good way to start if you have no computer skills. If you have computer skills, go to an employment agency so that they can assess your skills and place you on assignment. Like the first answerer said, a grocery store/supermarket job is a good start for your first paying job. They have flexible schedules and a good chunk of the employees there would be around your age. This is probably the easiest job to get and is the ideal way to get your foot in the door in the world of work. When I was 17, I worked in a supermarket. |
