Keep getting laid off from a restaurant job? |
i had a part time job in a japanese restaurant, i worked there about 2 months and i got layoff, it is second time i got layoff from restaurant. I don't know what i did wrong, or something else? i go to work on time, nice to customers, help others. but they just hire bunch of new people, and i disappeared from schedule. .Jeez, any idea for me to not get such craps again, i don't wanna change job often. This is how the restaurant business is. Don't blame yourself. Just move on and get another job. I highly recommend that you take some college courses so you are not a slave to minimum wage jobs. well you aren't getting laid off if they are hiring new people, you are getting fired. You might want to ask your prior employers as to the reason so that you can determine if you are causing problems. If they layed you off and hired new people or fired you without cause or explaining why they were letting you go, then find the info on how to contact your state labor board and file a complaint.
