how to get get in apprenticeship?

This may sound like a smart **s answer, but these methods are tried and true.
- Apply at construction sites Find them at the bottom end of the crane boom seen on the skyline.
- Cold canvass construction company HR offices in person, by phone and by resume.
- Network with other construction workers in your craft.
- Work with your state employment service.
- Don't be bashfull

You should try googling for electricians in your area and calling them.
If you are a certified electrician then you should be looking for a job, not an apprenticeship.

Here are the steps.

1. Write your resume.
2. Go online and look at websites, such as hotjobs.com, but there are several other sites.
3. Apply for as many jobs as you can.
4. If you can't find work easily, try doing some work experience. Ring up local electricians and tell them you want to do some work experience.
5. Don't give up, keep trying. Trades are in demand and if you keep looking you will get a job.
If you're a CERTIFIED electrician then you should already know how and where to get started. You weren't born with this knowledge; you had to learn it from someone, somehow.
Someone had to sign his/her name to state records certifying that THEY grilled and questioned you, and that you came out successfully and passed all necessary exams, in order for you to be certified. If this DID happen, then you have a LICENSE. If this didn't happen, then you aren't certified, and you need to go to school.
Start with the person who trained you. If that person is not available, then contact an employment agency in your area.
If you've lived in the area where you now live, for any length of time, then start letting your friends and family members know you're looking. Go take a drive. If you see houses or buildings going up, go knock on the door of the building that looks like it's where the decision-makers hang out.
YOU CAN DO IT! GET GOING!
Apply at as many factories as you can. Many will have a training program. Tradespeople are usually the last ones laid off.
Are you a union member? I live in NE Ohio which has a terrible economy, but our union electricians have more work then they can handle, at least at the moment. Unions have all the connections you need to get an apprenticeship and a job.
