Why is it so damn hard to get a job at 15? |
Employers want to hire people who have job experienced.. but how the hell do you gain job experience if no one will hire you in the first place?! I don't understand.. start with a babysitting job. you can put that as experience too. it doesn't matter where your experience is. they want to know if you are dependable and honestly most 15 year olds are not. school gets in the way as well as your available hours. places like subway sandwich hires teens try when you reach 16 or 18 Because you are not Mexican. The government makes it awfully difficult for employers to hire minors, especially below the age of 16. Keep trying. You'll find someone who appreciates your talent eventually :). ur too young and employers think ur too immature....no offence but they need people who they can trust and 15 is not a good age for some employers......sry I got a job at 14. I helped clean cafeteria at my school. I got paid very little for it though. theres plenty of jobs at 15. i got like 4 when i was your age(not trying to make u jealous) just ask around. during summer (its too late now but maybe next summer) get trained to be a lifeguard for example and if you have a liscence they wont turn you away even if you dont have experience. thats a job you can get at 15. ask around pools. i worked at a snack bar when i was 13. during the year. pick a sport like soccer or basketball or baseball or something and you can work as a referee or an umpire. you can babysit, mow lawns just look around your community and see what kind of help is needed. its not hard at all you can do it |
