I came to the states as permenant resident,never had any past job experience be4,how can i get a job?


i am us permanent resident,have college degree(thats not recognized bcz i got it from Africa),donno what kinda jobs i can apply for in Iowa,knowing i don't have any past experience in any job,and if there are places that offer training and job at the same time mason city,ia?

Your degree from Africa should count for something. I have no idea why it wouldn't.
I live in Iowa. Lots of places do that. Mabey Mcdonalds, burger king, arbys, hardees,gas stations. Look in the news paper. Your degree in afric is something. Mabey there's an african place you can work at.
Food service is defenitely the way to go. Every chain that I've worked for (and that's alot) has offered "on the job training". Sometimes it is at a lower pay rate than you will get after training, but atleast it is paid training.
