Can anyone provide me informations respect to Bahrain? like food, indian culture etc. I got job over there.? I am not quite sure why you included "indian culture" in the question. Bahrain is a semi-modern Middle Eastern country. It has no connections to India what-so-ever other than Indian immigrants. I am Indian myself, and during a vacation to India, I had a connecting flight from Bahrain. From what I have noticed, the food, the people, and the places are nothing like India. If you like middle eastern/mediterranean food, like hummus, shawerma, etc., you wouldn't have a problem. The country's infrastructure is very modern -- very nice highways, clean roads, clean environment. The only problem I had was the water -- it's a ocean-facing country with no pure water resources. So their primary water is desalinated ocean water. I could taste the saltiness while I was taking a shower at the hotel I was staying in. Other than that, I don't have much to say. Hope that helps.
