I was trying to work on my resume but what should I put down if one of the jobs I had is no longer in business and so the number that's there as the contact number for my reference check is no longer good as well. Should I write in parentheses next to my former employer that the company is no longer in business. I don't know the number to human resources as it was over 5 years ago that I've work at this job. I hope you all could help me out with this. Thanks so much.:-):-)
i've recently had this problem.. try to get a reference from a co-worker, if possible. you could write on your resume the company name and address that the business is no longer operating/closed and that a reference is available. if there are other stores etc. of the same company you could try calling them for a reference as well. |
