When do you know if it is right to quit a job? |
I recently started a new job, and I hate it. The people are snobby, I have had virtually no training, and I make less money then I did before I took this job. I took it because my husband wanted me to, and now I'm miserable. I want to know if I have a bad case of new job jitters, or is it something else? The snobby people wont change if you stay longer. The lack of training is a turn off and may put you in a bad situation. You should have known what the pay was but in any case that is not due to new job jitters. I wonder why your husband wanted you to take this job? In any event you should leave as soon as you secure another job. There is no sense in staying if you are unhappy. Go back to your old job. Why did you take this job for your husband? I would stick it a out a couple of weeks. If it's still not working out and there's no chance of improvement then get out. This is also if it won't upset your husband. Hang in there for a few days. If you still hate the job, quit. No job is worth you being miserable. I dont know how long you have been there, but being the new girl at work is as bad as being the new girl in high school. You may need to give it a few weeks. If you still wake up and dread going there and would rather spend your time scraping dead animals off the road....it may be time to move on!!! Good luck. When you get that knot in your stomach as you approach the building, when you check the time contantly and the day sames to go by too slow. When you can't SMILE anymore, honey its time to GO. Run for the hills, no JOB is worth this, life is too precious and short live to waste time on a JOB you hate. If it's just extra money you are looking for visit my blog www.extracasheachmonth.com. I do this full time from home because I was in the same situation you are in now and it made me sick going to that job each day. My husband was upset I left the job at first but now my husband is now happy because he sees the checks coming in. I wish you all the best, Good luck too you! www.extracasheachmonth.com |
