I'm 14 ans need a job? |
can someone help me find a job for me in California Legally you can't get a job. Even if you could, chances are most places wouldn't hire you. It's reality. I remember when I was 13 and I wanted a real job so badly, but even when I was old enough to get a job it was hard to do. You have to go looking into getting a work certificate if you are under age in California. I'm not sure what the requirements are and if you still have to be a certain age. type in your search bar this: www.dol.gov on the right you'll see a list of topics, look and see what the law is as to how old you can be, how many hours your allowed by law to work, etc. then, go job hunting. Maybe you can start at a small restaurant doing dishes and work your way up.....or start your own little business of cleaning out people's garages, mowing yards, that type of thing... but don't give up, I know you probably want money of your own, just keep trying if you don't have any luck at first....best of luck to ya'! ps, don't fall for internet scams!!!!! Remember!!!!! If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!!! If all those internet "survey" things, make money fast schemes were on the up and up, WE'D ALL be doing it, instead of WORKING for a living...Just be cautious before contacting anyone off the internet, or giving your email address, too many weirdo's out there!! (sorry, I'm a mom) :) |
