What job can i work at in raliegh nc at my age(11 yrs old)? Doing chores for your parents is the only way you can make money. You are way to young to get a real job. I do not know about the prototypical paper boy jobs of the good old days of TV. but look into that or mowing peoples yards, walking dogs, raking leaves. Stuff along those lines There is a child labor law that prevents any employer(job) from hiring you. You should start asking poeple you know and people around your neighborhood! Good luck You definitely cannot work at that age. I don't even think you can babysit at this age. But you can definitely do chores for your parents, neighbors. Pretty much child labor laws make it almost impossible for you to work at a "true job".. Now what you can do is odd jobs.. talk with parents about extra cash for doing more around the house. Dog walking or pet sitting service, maybe a pet washing service. If your parents run a business, they can employ family members that are under ages that are not normally allowed.. But other than that.. you might be out of luck.. Oh yeah, lawn mowing and lawn trimming, raking and all could be allowed, but not with chemicals such as fertilizer or weedkiller. Hope it helps. |
