I hate my job? |
I absolutely hate my new job. I mean I am the youngest one working there and its just nothing I thought it would be, since I am in highschool its not obviously the best job ever, but this job is ridiculous. I work at a Starbucks and I have been working there for now three days and it is actually EXTREMELY terrible I want to quit, but I don't know if that will make me look bad by doing so. I just don't feel like having a job all senior year of highschool because I will be working later on the rest of my life... Why start now? Its just that the job is extremely confusing, people want and demand so many different things, and on top of all that I DON'T EVEN LIKE COFFEE LET ALONE THE SMELL. Just go find another job. Or just quit and not have a job. There is no point in keeping a job that you hate so much. Don't worry about looking bad, this job just wasn't for you. If you want spending cash, you gotta do something to earn it. My job sucks. Been at it for 25 years. It pays the bills. Lol u should quit man, if u dont like it at all, no point of staying Why would you take a job at a coffee shop if you hate coffee? Secondly, quite - no ones forcing you to work there. and in response to "the job is extremely confusing, people want and demand so many different things" Welcome to the world. if you fine a job that doesn't demand many things and pays a lot of money, let me know If you do not have a plan for the rest of your life, you might end up with a job like this one when you are 40 or 50 and have bills to pay and children to feed. (I know your parents have told you this!) Use the time there to save a few dollars and figure out what you really want to do when you graduate from high school or college. Let your current job dissatisfaction motivate you to work harder in school. Once you have a plan, go for it so that you never have to complain about a job again. |
