How long did it take when you try to find a job?

I am 16 and I am starting to look for a job. I applied at 3 places already. What is the longest time that it took for them to call you for a interview? Cuz I really need one but I dont know usely how long it takes.

Well you have submitted an application to a company that is "hiring" then they should call you back in two weeks at the latest. If they don't then don't wait for them to call you. Chances are you are not the type of individual they are looking for. You definitely need to apply to more than three places so you can keep your options open. It also depends on the type of area you live in. In a smaller city it should be quicker. but in a bigger city it can take longer.
It all depends where you apply and if you have any experience.

My first job was in a grocery store. The manager of the store used to work with my Mom at another location here in town. I applied, took a simple math test and was hired. Good luck!
