If someone hits you first at your job and you hit them back could you lose your job aswell? Yes, you can lose your job as well. You should write the complain about this person, work is not the place for fitting. Management doesn't wont to see this on a work place, bad example. So, look for another job and Good Luck! i'm sure both will. If I had employees doing this, I'd fire them both. I would expect my employees to be ADULTS! probably, it depends on the circumstances. but just because someone hits you doesnt always mean hitting them back is the right thing to do. hopefully your boss doesnt look at it that way :) Usually, the policy is written as "fighting on company premises" and it takes at least two people, or one schizophrenic, to have a fight. It depends on the company and the circumstances. If someone attacks or hits you, you have a right to defend yourself. Yes don't hit them back call your manager and let him OR the police handle it. |
