What is it like being a lunch lady (server/cashier) in a school?

It probally is entertaining. The lunch ladies were always very sarcastic and funny and didnt take crap off anyone at my school.

I imagine it is pretty miserable serving out slops to ungrateful little gits.
I guess it would be very boring and dull. and the pay isn't all that great.

It can be a lot of fun, but like any other job, you will meet your fair share of idiots, and smart Alec's
You get alot of abuse from students! My friend used to do that, and she came home crying alot. Not a good job if you get your feelings hurt very easily.
I believe that is not that bad, is a good job or older people because it gives them the chance to have at least half of their day to themselves. That is is primary schools (not college oranything like that.
