Would you ever want in your workplace your friend? |
I work in coffeshop and my shift supervisor just had to make calls to few job applicants and it appeared that two of them are his friends from high school. He was not enthiustiastic about it saying that working with friends will feel awkward. The same opinion had many other of my co-workers. How about you? Would u want your friend in your worplace? I quit my bartending job to start over as a server at a bar with my best friend. I ended up hating it. I was extremely good and had people asking for me all the time, but ever since I had a guest ask for me that was in my friend's section, every time I helped her out she would ***** about me stealing her tables. Like she went off doing whatever and I got a drink order for one of her tables, rang it in under her number, and sent the drinks. She threw a fit and I had to tell her that I was just helping her. Anyways I quit the job since I wasn't making enough money and took a three month break just to get the horrible thoughts out of my system before taking another restaurant job. Depends on the friend. No. But I really don't like my friends. I've been working in the same office as my best friend for over two years. It's a blast! |
