Question for waiters/ waitresses???


Sorry I closed the other question like this by mistake.
Do you have to give the back wait (the guy who runs salads and food) any of your tips? We have to give him 25% and he doesnt do anything lately. I (we) have to run everything and the boss keeps standing up for him. Everybody else sees the same thing I do, so why is she fighting for him? If he gets 25% of everybodys tips, he walks out with more than we do! I was just wondering if it was like that at other places. I work at a members only club so it's different than other places. Thanks!

25% is a lot! He's not doing anything now because he doesn't have to and receives the percentage! I would take his job! It doesn't sound fair at all. Do you still have to tip the bartender too? I use to tip 10% to bus help and bar but 25% is too much!
Wow 25% you should be that guy. I never heard of that we give 10%.
