Job never turned in time card. No proof of hours worked? |
Okay so I worked at Little Caesars a while back. I've been calling since july to ask about my paycheck. I quit in June. We called and they said the manager has left on disability. My mom says she has a feeling that they did not turn in my time card. Is there any other way I could prove that I worked the two days that I did? Or is it possible for them to just get off the hook of paying me? Thank you Call the Dept of Labor in your town and have them investigate for you .. It might only be 2 days pay but you worked for them. By law the company has to retain your time card for 7yrs. If they can't find the card they will have to take your word that you worked and may be fined for losing it. Good Luck 1. did you work the cash register? did you put in your code before you can work it? then they should have your record. 2.how about shift sign in sheets? when you work a station, do you have to record the time you started and ended? then they have your record. 3. do they have security cameras? then they would have a record of your presence on the days you have said you worked. Dpont they have an assisant manager or shift leader or something to that effect you can talk to. I would call their coporate offices and ask for someone in Human Resources. If you received a handbook or employee rules manual, you should be able to find a phone number to their offices on that. Did you talk to a regional or area manager who is the boss of the disabled manager? You can find him/her by calling a Little Caesars near your restaurant. Do not explain your situation to the manager of that restaurant. Just tell him your a paying customer who wants to talk the boss of your old job site. They must pay you for work done regardless if it is 2 minutes or 2 months. |
