How much notice needs to be given before quitting a part time job?

i HATE my job but i want to be able to use it as a reference for a next job...its just a part time job & last week i told my boss i was going to quit before september and this week im going to say next week is my last week...did i give enough notice?

2 weeks is generally the standard for notice. It seems as though you've given enough notice and as long as your boss thinks the notice was acceptable that is all you ahve to worry about.
If dislike it soo much, then you would have quit on the spot, so yes. that is enough time
Two weeks is the rule of thumb. But if you hate it that bad just leave. It's a part time job, who gives a crap about ethics.
Two weeks is standard
Two weeks notice is the proper amount of time. At least you leave that company on good terms and get a reference on your resume for it.
