What questions do they ask you in a McDonalds job interview, and what should i wear?

I am applying for a job at my local mcdonalds for a crew position and wondering what kind of questions they ask, also what should i wear, are jeans and a button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up appropriate?

It's always advisable Not to wear jeans to a job (or college) interview even if they allow it on certain days such as 'casual Friday' which not all businesses have. (They probably have a uniform and dress code for food service/restaurant.) Perhaps you have a pair of dress pants to go with the button up shirt (and the shirt doesn't have anything offensive written on it or talking about rock n roll groups ;) Never wear sneakers to an interview either.

They may ask questions as others have suggested, such as "why do you want to work here?", "why should we hire you?", "what are your strengths and weaknesses?" (weaknesses question is a trick so don't say anything negative about oneself). You want to portray and of course also deliver if or when they hire you :) that you are reliable, dependable and that you have a great work ethic. People would like to hire someone who cares about others and the job that they have undertaken. Employers also look to hire employees that can work well with others as well as independently.

P.S. They may talk about proper food handling (wearing rubber or vinyl gloves) and sanitation since food borne illnesses such as salmonella (Not related to salmon, fish :) or others can occur if food is not properly cooked to the desired temperature or if it's not chilled in the freezer or 'fridge' at the right temperature. And if they ask you what type of salary that you are looking for, it's best to say 'negotiable' as one might bid too high or too low. And don't talk about salary until the very end of the interview if and when they ask you if you have any questions. Other questions that you can ask to look inquisitive and interested include 'how many mcdonalds are in the county region?', 'how many employees work at this branch?' and even 'does it seem like I would be a good fit here?' And of course, don't trust those online 'job opportunites' that some post on these boards :)
"would you like fries with that ??"
dress for success - good luck !
Skip the jeans....at least put on khakis/slacks. You attire reflects on you. If you dress professionally, it shows that you respect the position and company you want to work for.

As for questions, expect typical interview questions -
What are your strengths/weaknesses?
Why should we hire you?
How do you handle problems?
etc...

Good luck!
i would hope they ask people to speak english and read it as well, they will ask why you want to work there, be honest tell them your reason, ( need a job) and a hard worker( if you are) if not say you are and make it so, wear decent clothes not a suit and tie , jeans and a button up shirt or dickeys( work pants) and a button up shirt, cut the hair or wear it in a ponytail, shave too if you need to, and no piercings visable except ear rings ..
