This sucks can anyone help me? |
Okay I work at riteaid where the job is fast paced and easy. My job duties are stocking, scooping ice cream, and janitor stuff. I recently got written up because I called in sick due to an emergency regarding my fathers job. Yesterday I applied at Papa Johns which just opened up 2 blocks near my house. And today I got an interview to be a delivery guy. So.. if I do get this job.. should I quit riteaid? Or decline the papa john's job and go back to riteaid.. Papa John's Benefits - Delivery guy, so i'll get to drive around. Which is a plus but I have to work with hot steamy pizza and I will smell everytime I come home. I also get tips and.. gas reimbursement...Its 2 blocks away from my house. Rite Aid's Benefits - Stocker/Cashier/Ice Cream Guy. I work with friendly co workers whom some are my closest friends. Im also union and get tons of benefits like.. medical etc.. but I dont get them until I work there for a year. Its 2-5 miles from my house.. Which is the better choice??? up to you but i work in a pizza place and i dont come home stinking of pizza coz ur not always in the shop i like it coz its good tips and money. so probly pizza job. good luck in whatever u decide!! it is a tough thing but if you truly like the job and have benefits at the rite aid...I would say stick with the rite aid. Try to explain to your manager about the family emergency. Benefits with jobs are hard to come by, but when you have a stinky manager...that can be hard too. choice where do u fell confortable and pay $$$$ good :] Papa John's is your best choice. Working with friends always gets you into trouble. |
