Do chefs get to eat a lot just because they're chefs or do they cook mostly? |
I Love to eat so I was wondering if this would be a good job for that or is there another good one. Any chefs out there? My husband is a chef. He works terrible hours (6 days a week)....yeah, on occasion he does get to bring home food, but most of the time, he is too busy to eat. I t is a very stressful job and you don;t get paid as much a one would like ! Most chefs eat a lot of the stuff they cook for other people. They TASTE a lot - therefore a lot of them are overweight. My brother is a chef. Has been for about 20 years. When he first started cooking, he would eat at work, and make stuff for us all to try, but now he doesn't eat at work, and rarely makes stuff. His girlfriend does all the cooking, and his reasoning is that he cooks all day at work, he doesn't want to come home and start it right back up again. I cook a lot and I find that after cooking all day I do not even feel like touching the food. I am just tired of looking at it. I don't think its legal for them to eat at their jobs but they probably cook fattening cuisines at home alot it could work in your favor or hinder you. on the job you get to taste, not eat. but once you get home ou can make yourself some awesome food. |
