What restaurant should I apply at?

Ive never been a waitress before, but ive had a lot of jobs. Im considering red lobster, chilis, olive garden, or iggys. where do u think i should apply? or any other suggestions?????

i have applied and been hired in at red lobster and i actually turned down the job they were very picky about different things (i realize its a nice restaurant but geez) and i had to take i think 3 different tests and had two interviews to get it--Ive been a waitress before and am currently starting a new waitress job and it seemed like too much for me i like more down to earth places and if you have never been a waitress before you may find it difficult to jump in and learn everything so fast and be able to do it right
and i know olive garden and red lobster are owned by the same corporation so i assume the process at both would be similar
im not trying to deter you from these places as both are expensive and you would prolly get good tips from them but it might be hard at first being new to waitressing
i would try somewhere more laid back first to get some experience and then go for a bigger place like red lobster/olive garden Source(s): GOOD LUCK
Give us a location.
I'm not trying to be a smart @$$, but not all restaurants are national chains.
Olive Garden would seem fun. :]
look at the menu and find the most expensive.....more tips
Since you're a beginner waitress, try to pick somewhere that isn't too busy - maybe a diner, or a small mom and pop shop. It's better to start off working in a place without a huge lunch or dinner rush, so that you can get the hang of the job. You make less money at places like that, but it's easier to learn that way. And once you have experience, you can move anywhere. Good luck!
In my experience, now this is just my opinion! I have found that chains are the worst places to work, everything has to be done exactly by the book because they are trying to instill quality control throughout all their restaurants.
