What degrees do I need to become a chef?

What degrees do I need to become a chef?

My advice, is to work in a kitchen first. Jobs aren't always what they seem. Restaraunt work is hard, hot long and dirty. You'll work at opposite hours from your friends and family. The money sucks and it's hard to get into upscale places.

I don't mean to dissuade you but you need to know what you're in for.
just attend culinary school. If you want to be in management later, add business management classes.
A degree from culinary school should be the minimum. After that its just training and "paying your dues" under a good chef over time.
