I have 3 questions to ask concerning a job at Subway on a job application?



A.) A customer complains that he was short changed by you reciving only 13 cent change from $20.00 instead of 31 cent. What do you do?
B.) Which do you consider more important as far as a resturant is concerned- courteous, prompt service, or a quality product?
C.) What do you consider to be the most important qualifications of a Subway employee?

a.) Give them the change. If it was a lot of money, say 10 or more dollars I would count down the drawer to find out.

B.) Both equal.

C.) Friendly, a big smile, a sense of urgency. Source(s): Manager at Panera.
A) Give the customer the 18 cents. It's not worth the hassle or ill will it will create.
B) Both are equally important in a restaurant. I would stop eating there for either reason.
C) Impeccable customer service skills.
A). In this situation, always try to get a manager that's available. Even if you know you gave him the correct amount of change. A tip for this situation is to leave the bill the customer gave you across the register, then count out the change, and before you close your register, put the bill in its correct spot

B). Courteous prompt service is ALWAYS key and is the most important in the resturant industry. The quality of a product can always be altered. So you want to make sure the customer service is outstanding. At times, a customer will return for the good customer service, even if the food didn't meet their expectations.

C). The most important qualifications would be good customer service skills, such as listening to your customers, making sure you made the sub/salad or what not correctly, making sure your prompt yet correct. Satisfied customers are always the most important qualification of ANY employee that works with customers.
