What job does a kitchen porter do .? When i was a kitchen porter i used to fetch all of the cooks stores, wash pots and clean the kitchen as well as dealing with delivery's and orders. He does what he's told! Normally all the rubbish jobs, pot wash, clean floors, glass wash (if it's a big hotel for example he gets to continually put glasses through a big machine) Ex hotel worker all the jobs no one else will do your a helper, you do a lot of little things that really keep the kitchen clean and going. clean kitchens and dishes saucepans etc.may also involve helping out in resturant or cafe he does all what others say he does + singing and whistling to make the chef happy!!! |
