CAN a job rehire you if you didnt give 2 weeks notice when uyou left before?

I kno that its discourteous not to give two weeks notice but I quit a job when I was 17 years old (im now 19) at a clothing store working part time. Me and the manager were very close but I had to end up getting another job because i was making minimum wage and only getting 6-12 hours a week, and plus I was about to start school full time. The stress of 2 jobs was too much for me so I quit my job at the clothing store without giving notice....The manager that was there when i was there doesnt work there anymore and i want to go back and apply for a job...do you think i have a chance of getting rehired?
**No rude commentz please**

鈾?Thanx to everyone who took time out to read and answer my question.....

Well you have two choices, apply for it and hope for the best (doubtful) or apply and ask to speak with the manager to explain your situation when you where young, as hard as that might be being upfront and honest might help. Best of luck to you no matter what your choice may be
As a manager (retired) I would have put down on the termination notice, the following statement. Not rehireable, quit without notice. Each company is different though and will do what they want. I have never rehired an employee that QUIT with out notice.
Won't hurt to try. And explain your past situation if the subject comes up.
They can. Depends on their policy or the judgment of the person making the call. If you take the time to politely explain why you did what you did, you'll have the best chance.
Well they can hire you back, but chances are they wont. They will see that you left on bad terms (because you did not give notice) and wont be able to trust you. You can certainly try, but dont keep your hopes up. Sorry hun, but if its retail... there are plenty of other stores out there for you. Good luck with the job market.
a job can do anything they want its possible u could get rehired if they understood ur reason for leaving w/o a notice but alot of people wont rehire someone who did that but then again it has been two years and im sure alot of faces come and go through there so they might not even kno. i think its worth a shot
I swear I mean no offense, but part time clothing store workers are a dime a dozen & are easily replaced. You did them no harm. I bet it happens all the time. The managers probably expect it to some degree, so I wouldn't worry about that.
If you have to put on the app that you worked there before, say yes & explain that since you were friendly with the other manager you were able to leave w/o giving 2 weeks.
You should be fine.
