im 19 and im trying to find a good job that pays at least 15-20 dollars an hour. Im thinking about becoming a waiter at a resturant like applebees or something but i dont know how the pay is. Can anyone here help me out?! Also i live in texas. Waiting tables isn't about pay, it's about tips. You usually make minimum wage (or less!) from the actual employer - you make up the rest in tips. The better server you are, the better tips you make. Are you experienced? If not, then you'd likely end up having to work a less-busy shift at a restaurant willing to hire you on. Slow shifts = low tips. construction Google craigslist and put in your city, goodluck! At your age, the only way you are going to make that kind of cash is illegal. |
