I've just started a job in our local shop any tips please to help me relax? |
my husband got the job I love it its serving the customers re filling the shelves papers athe end of the end of the day Good luck in your new job and as long as you are enjoying the work you shouldn't find it to stressful. Ask your husband to give you a nice neck mas-sarge I find that really helps me to relax... sounds fun, you'll soon settle in and get to know the customers, just treat them as your friends, enjoy it get a lot of sleep If you take interest in work, it will be done fine. Be attentive to your customers. Good luck and God bless. Make shopping in your shop a happy experience for the customer. Don't hold them back by chatting unless they initiate it, but look them kindly in the eye, thinking "You're really nice" (it shows) and never forget to smile at them when you say 'Thank you." Also, be cheery and considerate to the other staff, even the inevitable *****. When you think of other people (and see the results) you stop thinking about your nerves. You'll be great. Wish you were in my local store! As long as you are pleasant and give the customers a smile and be helpful then you will soon learn to relax.This goes a long way being helpful and helping you enjoy your work. I guess it must have been quite a while since you last had a job. Is it the same sort of work that you are used to if not thank your husband and go and do the work you like find a Job that suits you but do not give up too soon give it a good try but don,t be unhappy as perhaps you are not a good mixer and prefer to work on your own. enjoy the interaction with people........ and remember to smile - a smile is a fantastic way of brightening your own day, |
