Will They Find OUt? |
I have applied at a new job, but haven't told them where im working now. Ive only been at this new job for 2 months and dont wanna tell the job that im applying for. Will they find out if i dont put in on my resume???????????????????? They told me theyre gonna do a background check and a credit check....?????// what is each one mean? If you did not list your current job on your application form, and did not give them the information on a resume then no, they can not find out where you are working and call there. Background check is where they verify information you have given them on a resume or job application form. All education, employment information. Credit check is where they will check public records for any kind of problems. (Multiple leans against you, wage garnishments or public judgements against you.) They are not checking your credit history to find out how much you owe and to who but any kind of problems that may cause you issues at work. A background check is to call your previous employers. A credit check is when they run a credit report on you. Since you only been there 2 months, I doubt if your current employer is on it. You can get a free credit report every 12 month thru annualcredit report.com or call Trans Union toll free at 1 877-322-8228 and they will run all 3 bureaus for you at no charge. Bill collector 35 years. They won't find out. They will only check the credit bureau and the references you have listed. Good luck It all depends on how much those folks want to pay for the background check and every other investigation they decide to do. Two months is not a long time on a job. A background check: they could decide to only investigate as deep the information you provide on your application and r茅sum茅. IF the new position involves security or national defense, the check may be more detailed and deeper. If you were evicted; have a criminal record, judgments, etc. A credit check verifies the information you provided on your application: name, birth date, current address and social security number - to a credit bureau to determine if you paid your bills on time or if you were late, have outstanding loans, unpaid loans, etc. If you gave false information, the background check and the credit check could disclose this information to your future employer. Thank you for asking your question. I enjoyed taking the time to answer it. You did a great job - not only for your information, but for every other person interested in reading my answer.
