What is my job title?

PLEASE NO SARCASM. I work at a mom and pop-style burger joint. I do pretty much everything there (cook, serve, stock, clean and close) but I am not a manager or owner.
What is my title?

I would ask my employer first; however, here are some other names that could be considered:

* Shift Leader
* Crew Chief
* Team Leader
* Head/Lead Cook
* Head/Lead Cashier
* Assist. Manager
* Shift Supervisor

There are many more to name. Many times when you are working for a company that has less than 15 employees...all or many of the employees are Minors and do not carry much of the weight. However, if you have many years experience, you would want to list the experience and years in position.

You may very well in-fact be an: "All around Excellent Employee." Source(s): Personal Experience-- Mc Donald's Corp. 12 Years
Suggest you speak to the owner/boss and ask that question.

Why do you need a title anyway, sounds like you are pretty busy and they must trust you to give you all that responsibility.

Cheers.
Overworked!!!!!
Jack of all trades.
Sounds like (to me) you have the title of "general cook" since the important part of your duties in the burger joint is cooking the food.

In broader terms you may have the job of "general help."
SON .... or DAUGHTER!
