is there a job out there for a person that now has a bad back .but i want to work i was a liquor manager .i made 35,000. a year Check with the "department of rehabilitation services" in your state. They can assist you in finding employment. No one owes you a living. If you so good employ yourself! Only if you can find an employer who will pay you same to delegate the lifting and carrying to another. Or you could even open your own liquor store and employ someone to lift and carry for you. how about starting your own? there are loans for small & medium enterprises that can jumpstart it. i make much more than that as a restaurant manager, and ill tell you i talk alot during the day and walk alot. but i rarely have to lift anyting unless its by choice. if you a manager, you manage, if your team member you do the heavy stuff. any quick service company would be glad to have someone that can truly delgate and manage a buisness, rather than do all the work you pay others to do for you. also if you do get a job as a manager , treat your employees as people not numbers to be manipulated and they wont let you lift anything. my team doesnt want me doing what i pay them for.
