Need a raise really bad? |
I work as an assistant manager at a movie theater and need a raise because i am tired of customers bitching and only getting $6.50 to listen to it. I live on my own and am in college and could use a dollar more an hour. How do i go about getting a raise or am i qualified for something better somewhere else. Assistant manager for 6.5. You need to find a new job NOW. Crew should make more than that, managers at least 9 or 10. $6.50 an hour is a crime...Look for a new job. No one should be paid that crappy money. Try asking your boss for the extra dollar an hour and explain why you feel you deserve it in a non threatening, no emotional manner. Be professional. If you get turned down, look elsewhere. Asst mgrs at McDonald's start at 9.00 hourly. Ask your manager. If you are at a chain, you may be forced to wait for the next raise period which is usually done annually with reviews. |
