Does anyone have any experience with The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago?

My brother wants to attend there and I'd like to find out if anyone has any personal experience to share, good or bad.

Did you like it? Was your degree helpful in obtaining employment? Was it a quality education? How long did it take you? How much did it cost?

You don't have to answer all the questions, that's just an idea of what I'm looking to find out.

Thanks!

One question.... how much restaurant experience does he have?
If the answer is little or none, my advice is to get a job first.
If you go to culinary school to learn how to cook you are wasting your time and money. If you have to spend all your time on the basics you miss all the good stuff.
I have not been to this school myself but I have worked with graduates who did enjoy it. Source(s): Many happy years in the back of the house.
All the degree I got Trish was a degree in my mothers kitchen.. learned a lot of southern dishes.. Sorry I cant help ya on these northern places.. Good luck.. Might try typing in and finding on line.
