How do you find a job? |
Tips. Tricks. I'v been looking for far to long. I need your help. Thanks. I've been looking too. I get on the internet and type in the browser what type of job I am looking for. If you go to church, go to your church secretary and ask if anyone in the congregation has made mention of work available. Go to the temp agencies. Job fairs. Be bold. If you know the type of work you are looking for. Get dressed for work and go down to the personnel department with plenty of resumes in hand and introduce yourself and mention that you are looking for work. Also mention to your family and friends that you are looking for work. Someone may know of an opening in their office. I hope this helps. Pray for me and I'll pray for you. I'm looking too. The way I always get the jobs that really want is to seek them out on the internet or in the phone book and then stalk them until they hire you. Simple as 1....2...3... LOL Turn off the computer and hit the street. Apply at every restaurant in town. There are usually lots of openings at this time of year. Get your resume together and make sure it's clear and truthful. Try online applications and then do the old fashioned thing...beat the gumshoe....doors will open if you don't give up....oh and I had to humble myself and stop saying what job I wasn't going to do.... |
