Reasons to become a chef?

well it depends on how one feels about food one could be the desire to satisfy the taste buds of someone or the great passion or earge to be around food or you just love to cook and learn about the nutritional effects different food has on the body Source(s): my brain
Love of food, Love and strive in chaotic environments, creativity
Insanity? A chef is in charge of a group of people in a small space with a lot to do and not much time to do it and in the next room all the critics who will decide each meal if you are worth the money to come there again.
The power and stress has to be invigorating for some and maddening for others.
Go for it you get to play with really big knifes :)
