What is the starting salary at Starbucks in Northern New Jersey ? |
Morris County in particular. Are their "benefits" attainable for PT employees ? I believe the starting pay is $7.75/hr (it does vary by geographic location) and they DO offer benefits for part time employees. Medical, Dental and Vision with options to add children &/or spouse/partners if you'd like. Last time I worked there, you got to choose three different tiers of coverage (from really basic medical to really good coverage). They say if you work 20 hours or more a week you will qualify for benefits. But if you get less than 20 during the week you can make it up the following week. They calculate your total hours you've worked in a quarter to see if you qualify for coverage. Other benefits are a free lb of coffee a week (or box of tea), free drinks while you work, 20% Discount on almost anything, discounts for other businesses including Cingular, Skechers ect. , Stock options, free stock bonus (depending on how long you've worked there) and more. Feel free to contact a local Starbucks and just ask them what their starting wage is (if you want to double check). If you have coffee experience then they may start you out higher.
