What will be the best jobs for the future, with job security and plenty of work, with good pay? Anything in the medical field. A Doctor or Lawyer should meet the criteria. Astraunaout? That's why I went to school for teaching...but they're closing schools and laying off (public school!) teachers where I live. There are no guarantees. Pray about it. But I found there will always be a demand for nurses and truck drivers. (Sadly, with NAFTA, the illegal immigrants are taking over trucking jobs too now...) People are living longer. So that means, they will need to be taken care of. The health field in any form, need to concentrate on Geriatrics. And, look around us, the software industry is in every facet of our lives.... Slowly already replacting humans....the true Jetsons have arrive. software developer web designer/developer sales, if you can sell medical is good. truck driving is good. probably pharmaceutical research developing new drugs Marketing and advertising seem to have longevity. If you make it to executive level, you'll definitely have a rather nice salary. Law enforcement is a great field, especially when it comes to job security and benefits. Information Systems is a field that continues to grow, but you have to be able to adapt to the constant changes. You never stop learning in the I.T. fields. Gotta find what's good for you, do some research, and hopefully your future wil be bright. :) There are many good opportunities in this country; however, if you want to be financially free, you need to be in the right business.
