Quitting work question plzz help me!?

hi im 16 and im a server at a banquet hall.

i have been at the job all summer and i only intended it to be for the summer

well
its reaching into the fall and i wanna stop

how do i tell my boss i wanna quit?

this is my first job ever.

im kinduh scarred actually.

i dont know what to say

if i should call or do it in person?

please help me

thank you!

It can be scary to tell an employer you are leaving. It always makes me nervous too. I would do it in person, and I would just be honest. Are you back to school now for the year? If so you could just say that you don't want a job during the school year. If you can give them some notice, they like that a lot better, but if you can't, simply tell them you need to be done immediately. Good luck :)
Telling your boss the truth is always a good bet. Tell him/her exactly what you've said here and do so in person. Bosses are most understanding when you are honest and forthright with them.
A long life and successful businesses!
Most def. do it in person.
Tell them you would like to speak to them in private.
Once you are in their office or whatever, let them know that you thank them for this oppurtunity but you are now back and school and would like to continue your education.

hope all goes well.
