I am 36 years old, working in government service, and got MBA seat at reputed college ,is it advisable to join?

i would like to know about the future for MBA, as i am working in government service, and it is advisable to join the course? is the age is the criteria for the course? or any opportunity for the MBA course at the age 37 with experince in government service.?

Getting your MBA, First off Concrats!!!! you can do so much more than if you were working for the government. do you have any military experience? if not getting your MBA will only start you off at a GS 9 pay range. that is about 50,000 a year. with an MBA believe me you can do better. although their is ways to work up the ladder, just like in corporate america. benifits are not bad but with a 6 year degree, you can do a lot better with your degree. look at USAjobs.com for jobs that are offered with a masters degree if you are still interested.

best regards-Randy
