Are there entry level jobs that pay at least $10.00 per hour with insurance benefits?

i only have a high school diploma and some college

You should try going to a temp agency. They can assess your skills and hook you up with a temp- to permanent job, usually including benefits after a little while. Also, customer service is a good option.
a few factories in my area that pay $12. to $14. to start and have insurance after 90 days probation. That might be a place for you to consider, any local factories.
Try banking jobs they usually start off around 10.00 and you receive full benefits. You only need a couple of years working in customer service.
I was a bank teller for 2 years.
Of course there are many jobs out there like that - they will be competative, so you have to really market yourself! I would keep my eye on the papers, hospitals, schools, doctor offices etc. Also, maybe consider a job that advances quickly. Maybe start at $9 w/benefits starting after 90 days or something like that -- it probably wouldn't take long to get to your goal...and it beats waiting around for a different job and not getting paid at all.
