Are There Any Useful Websites For Those Wishing To Pursue A Career In Diplomacy And International Relations???

Sorry if I am repeating this...Last time I didn't receive sensible answers.

First, you need to take the foreign service exam (find a prep-course because it is daunting and all encompassing).
Second, get at least a master's degree or they won't even look at you for anything other than a clerical job.
Third, look into the blogs -- a lot of career diplomats have taken to blogging (under the cover of an assumed internet identity.
My father was a career FSO (foreign service officer). The pay wasn't all that great and we got sent to all the third world danger sites so you could get shot at and catch dysentary! You don't mention what your education background is or what your age is so it's harder to give guidance. Think about working for something like the world bank or one of the world development organizations, the pay is better (it's tax free), you still have to put up with self-serving dictators and bureaucrats, but if you have the fortitude for it, you might actually make a positive change -- oh and you're less likely to get shot at or catch dysentary. Source(s): The first 22 years of my life as with an fso father.
dunno
Google foreign office
Yes I hope this helps. Google into "career info" Their is a web site "Careers in international, and diplomacy and world affairs". Click on it, and you will have your info.. There are other websites their also for you to choose from, but from your question I think this will help you.

Hope I helped you this time.
