I got a notice on my door that there was a civil paper for me at the civil process div. What could it mean? It means you are being sued. I would take prompt attention to this matter. A failure to appear in court can result in jail. Source(s): Been sued twice.. You're probably being sued. You should go check it out. Don't procrastinate. These papers are usually a lawsuit or divorce papers...something like that. My husband does process serving. It means you have been served papers to appear before a judge. Don't ignore this one. Go down there and get the writ. see what it says. |
