Do DC Gov't employees get paid by US dept of Treasury?

If they are paid by Dept of Treasury they are exempt from administrative wage garnishment by another federal agency.

The district of Columbia is funded in a budget set by congress and from taxes (sales and other) set in the district. Workers in the district are not exempt from garnishment.
No, because not all government employees are federal employees.
Well, I work for the federal government and my checks are cut by the Department of Interior. We are not exempt from wage garnishment.
