Masters in nonprofit management?

I have always been interested in working in a nonprofit of some kind. I am thinking of getting my masters in nonprofit management after I finish my bachelor's degree in anthropology; however, I am unsure if the nonprofit degree is a waste or if it will actually get me a good job... Any advise would be helpful... Thanks.

Check for some non-profits you would like to work for and if having a Masters is a job requirement. I'm obtaining my MA in Public Admin which has a concentration in non-profit at CSUDH through their online program. It's great for me since a Maser's degree counts as one year of experience for my organization. Check it out! Source(s): mpaonline.csudh.edu
Non profits pay very little money unless you're at the very top.
Most nonprofits want people with for-profit managerial experience before they will even think of hiring you.
