Jobs for a 13 year old????? |
are there any jobs a 13 year old can get (nothing like mowin or paper routes) Baby sitting is about your only other option. The department of labor does not allow companies to hire a child your age. i believe that's illegal unless you work 'under the table'...which is illegal...you have to wait till you're atleast 14 and even then it's hard to find a place that will hire you...sorry but looks like ur gonna have to wait a while. Why don't you do some research on places in your area that need volunteers in the field that you are thinking about doing in your future. Remember you must crawl before you walk. In the long run with careful thinking, dedication and experience you will have more compensation than most adults in the working world. I know it's hard but you must work hard 4 somethings in life. Good luck too you and also when you volunteer believe me if you do right by them and yourself it's just like church they will invest in you ( take care of alot of your worries....money issues) cause they are going to want you to stay and grow within there establishment.
