Interview on Tuesday any tips???? |
i am interviewing for the post of play and communication worker, with 0-5 year olds. i need any tips on prepairing for the interview, i know lots about the company, and their aims and goals. But really need this jobs so any REAL tips would be gratefully received. First, show that you have this knowledge because it convinces the interviewer that you actually want the job. Then, dress very well and take a lot of care over your appearance just to make yourself feel confident, sort of like conquering the world! Also it will impress the interviewer that you are someone that parents would feel happy about leaving their children with. Show enthusiasm for the job without going over the top. I hope you get the job. yes. dont go you wont get it anyway This always worked for me.... at the end of the interview they will ask, "Do you have any questions?" - Make sure to have a question. It demonstrates you are interested in the job and opens a more person to person dialog (as opposed to the interviewer/interviewee role). i once read that if you mirror some of the interveiwers body language it will make them feel at ease with you. They will feel they can relate to you, just don't make it obvious...good luck Make sure you dress nicely, brush your teeth before you go and smell nice. Make sure you are confident because they are looking for confident people at these sorts of jobs. Make sure you plan out what you are going to say and what gestures you are going to make (hand shakes, facial expressions). Also, try smiling, it helps to look like you are a happy person. just be yourself I believe interviewers have an idea of the kind of person they want to employ and if you look like that person they'll give you the job, doesn't matter whether you can answer their questions adequately or not. |
