Is this a good idea?


I'm wanting to become a firefighter. Would it be a good idea to find a job in a fire department while working towards a fire science degree?

Absolutely! Experience pays. You offer an employer more than education when you have practical experience to back up the coursework.
Furthermore, it makes you a very attractive candidate when compared to others who don't have experience.
You're seen as knowing your stuff!
get as much experience as possible..
