What kind of government jobs require a lot of travelling and is the travelling paid for by the gov't?

If business trips have to be taken around the globe, will they be paid for by the gov't? Also, do you have a say as to where you're willing to travel to?

i would look into an agency like the FBI or the CIA. They usually pay for stuff like work related travelling, but im not sure that you would have a say so on where you would want to go
The military, obviously. Also foreign service.

They'd pay for required travel. But you go where they tell you if you're in the military. In foreign service, you have some choice, but the choices you're given are not particularly desirable until you've been in the foreign service for a long time.
www.usajobs.gov is the federal website.

Yes, travel is paid by the employing agency. But don't think you'll get lots of "personal time" in addition to the travel. Often you have to be at work the very next day.

Working overseas for a federal agency might make it easier for you to travel.

Good luck...
