What are the best resources to find jobs with nonprofit, government agencies?

I am looking for a job with a nonprofit, any suggestions?

Try contacting your local United Way office and asking if they know of any non-profits that are hiring. Check out craigslist.com (if you have a local one). Look into volunteer opportunities as well, it may help you gain references and an "inside" to hear about any possible positions. Government agencies are usually required to post job openings. Check out the local government web-sites or libraries to learn about the application process.
