Are there any jobs that don't require a background check? |
Please list some preferably in the state of Minnesota almost all jobs now require background checks since 9/11.......if ur worried bout something that might show up on ur background and dont wanna be embarrassed then just run a background check urself first......try www.ussearch.com or other sites that do b.checks... Prostitute / Pimp / Drug Dealer You could run for President - they usually don't get outted until their 2nd or 3rd year - LOL. I'm sorry didn't mean to make jokes and I don't really know of many jobs left which lack a background check - perhaps Walmart, Kroger, etc. However the Corporate world always requires background checks. If you have a checkered past - your best bet is to be completely forthcoming on your application and have a conversation with the HR personnel regarding the same. y do u have something 2 hide ? I can't give you a list. Even cleaning toilet has to be checked! What are you so afraid of? If you have nothing to hide - you're fine. If you have been convicted before and had served your time, and you were a good person from the time you got out, this is not a reason not to be accepted from any job that you qualified for. Did you know that there is politician with a background of being on jailed for years and yet he is I think a congressman or a mayor . My point is, this is not something to worry about. you can get a letter to vouch for you at the place where you served. But if you really are not comfortable - I will just keep quiet. bye! no If you have integrity, honesty and willingness to change, i believe that one day, a kind soul will accept you, regardless of your past. Somebody said "Regardless of your past, your future is a clean slate." You may have to sacrifice a bit in the start if you have some muddy past you would like to erase, like offer to work with 50% normal pay for the first 2 months or without pay just to prove that you are a new person, but i will vouch that it will prove worthwhile. Just believe in yourself. I will have to agree, when this world is becoming more and more shrewd, a background check is as equal to breathing in corporate employment. |
